Hi, I'm Dr. Matt!


I'm an exercise physiologist, trainer and adjunct professor at Teachers College - Columbia University.  While my primary responsibilities are in clinical support, teaching and research, I spend my extra time personal training (in person and online).  I've worked in fitness since 2001 and have been personal training since 2010.  I have been credentialed by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as an exercise physiologist since 2002.

ABOUT ME

I love helping both old and new friends get fit and feel great. I've helped hundreds of clients and patients in my career. I currently live and work in Connecticut and New York, but I've studied and traveled all over the USA (49 states) and internationally.  What are your personal fitness goals? ​I CAN HELP YOU! ​

One of the biggest hurdles people face in getting fit are the many conflicts in scheduling a workout routine into their day. I aim to be as flexible as possible (in the evenings and weekends) to accommodate my clients' needs.  I can customize a program and training package for you!
